The school
Demo Vidya Mandir (DVM) is a co-educational, English-medium senior secondary school affiliated to the CBSE (Affiliation No. 2130456). Founded in 1998 by the Demo Vidya Mandir Education Society with 84 students in a rented bungalow on Vidya Path, the school moved to its present 3.2-acre campus in Gomti Nagar Extension in 2004 and today serves about 1,200 students from Nursery to Class 12.
Our story
1998 — founded with Classes Nursery to 5. 2004 — new campus, first CBSE affiliation up to Class 10. 2011 — senior secondary with Science and Commerce. 2019 — Humanities stream, robotics lab and the first alumni chapter. 2024 — smart classrooms in every room and a fully digital parent app.
We follow the NEP 2020 vision: foundational literacy and numeracy in the early years, experiential learning in the middle years, and Science, Commerce and Humanities streams with vocational electives in Classes 11–12. Four houses — Ganga, Yamuna, Narmada and Kaveri — compete in sports, debates and community service through the year.

The school is run by the Demo Vidya Mandir Education Society, a society registered under the Societies Registration Act, 1860 (Reg. No. LKO/1996/SOC/1123). The managing committee meets quarterly; the School Management Committee (SMC) constituted under the RTE Act includes 75% parents.
